Note: Solenoid is opposite, 180 degrees, from mounting ears. Starter pictured is ACTUAL!

When installed, the solenoid is "Underneath" or at the "Bottom" of the starter.

This is an Onan factory supplied starter made by Mitsubishi, the OEM supplier to Onan for this starter. Made in Japan, not China.

You can get the really cheap made in China version on other sites for much less. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. The Chinese starters are well known to be JUNK!
