Onan 112-0264 STD Pistons with Rings. Without Wrist Pins. 1 Pair

While doing a top end on my Onan P220G I had nothing but bad luck previously using imported ebay gaskets. Got real American made ones here at onanparts.com and the bad luck ended! I was in need of new STD pistons but wary of the Chinese imported ebay ones.

My machine shop said my original pistons with nearly 2000 hours on them were due for replacement. The top ring groove clearance was right at the limit. I could have reused them, but the shop said I would be taking the engine back apart within 500 hours or so. Or worse, suffer a broken ring due to the excessive clearance and risk scoring the cylinders!

I had priced out the piston kits here at onanparts.com but they were out of my budget range. Then I discovered these OEM Onan piston kits that did not include new wrist pins. Hmmm...Off to machine shop to have my pins checked. They said pins were within specs and no reason to replace them.

I got this kit, 1 pair of pistons with rings and pin retainers at the sale price that was the same cost as the Chinese ebay ones! So, US made pistons and rings and reuse my pins, no brainer!

Kit showed up and is exactly as described. Bottom end, rods and crank were all within specs so back together it went and I should be good for another 2000+ hours. Maybe longer as the previous owner did not do any regular service, oil changes etc. Thank you onanparts.com!
